Gladys holds a BS Degree with Distinction in Education from the University of Delaware, an MS in Education from the University of Pennsylvania, plus 30 additional credits with a concentration in Educational Administration at Penn. Her first career was as a teacher in Delaware County and supervisor of student teachers at the University of Maryland. She subsequently took accounting courses at Widener University and worked for several local accounting firms.

In 1989 she became a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Pennsylvania, and a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA). She has been certified by the National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education (NIEPE) as a Specialist in Estate Planning since 1999.

Kathy has worked in the accounting field for over twenty years. She received her BS in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting from Widener University. She later returned to Widener and earned an MS in Taxation.

As Senior Staff Accountant, she prepares all types of tax returns and provides accounting assistance for local businesses. She has been employed with Gladys D. Snively, CPA since 1998.

Marcia, our Office Manager, is a native Swarthmorean who attended Muskingum College in Ohio.

She worked in administration for several local businesses before joining our staff in 1997.

Jim received a BS Degree in Physics from Drexel University, and an MA Degree in Mathematics and PhD in Applied Mathematics from the University of Maryland. He worked for many years in the corporate computer staff of Sunoco Inc. where he evaluated equipment, software and networks. His specialties include data analysis and troubleshooting computer and network problems.

In addition to providing technical support to the practice, Jim teaches Mathematics at Saint Joseph’s University and owns a computer consulting practice.
